Latisha Howard is a native of Sanford, Florida and married to Edward Howard. She is a loving mother of three and proud grandmother of three. She attended the public schools of Seminole County and graduated from Seminole High School in 1992. She has over 25 years' experience in law enforcement with nearly 20 of those years in a leadership position.   Latisha earned her bachelor’s degree in General Studies from Columbia College. Latisha enjoys spending time with her family, riding her motorcycle and shopping. She has a passion for speaking to and inspiring young women in her community.  Her passion comes from being a teenage single mother. She knows firsthand the importance of having positive role models in your life.  In 2020 she started her own non-profit organization SHE WAS ME, Inc. Her vision for the organization is to be a beacon of hope to young women who are currently experiencing the same things she experienced in her past. Her moto is NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS BECAUSE IT’S NEVER TO LATE TO BE WHO YOU WERE MEANT TO BE!!
